Descrizione

Built in the 18th century and then completed in the 19th, the church has high historical and religious value because it was built on the site where Saints Alfio, Cirino and Filadelfo were martyred on May 10th, 253 AD. According to the story, the church contains one of the three wells “dug” by St. Alfio’s tongue after his martyrdom.
