Protected by an artistic gate, the chapel of Saints Alfio, Filadelfo and Cirino faces the right nave through an arched entrance that presents soffit floral decorative paintings and depictions of the virtues of the martyrs: faith and courage. The space is divided into two rooms of which only one is visible. The inner compartment is closed as it guards one of the city's treasures: the beautiful silver fercolo with the seated statue of Saint Alfio, worshiped and taken in procession during the great feast of May. The chapel, rebuilt between the 30s and 40s of the 20th century, has a classical style, it is decorated with pilasters, capitals and small niches with golden mosaic tiles.
The notable trabeation introduces the barrel-vaulted coffered and, at its center, a stained glass window is set depicting the coat of arms of the ancient Cathedral.
On the front lunette, we see a painting representing a fundamental figure in the history of the church of Lentini: “Santa Tecla as she dies” by Carmelo Comes, artist from Catania.
The chapel also hosts 19th century sculptures of the three martyrs, represented, as usual, seated on their thrones. The sensibility and affection of the people of Lentini would see in those chairs a way to alleviate the tiredness caused by the long walk and long road from Vaste, their birth city in the Puglia region, to Lentini, the place of their martyrdom.
