A marble transenna with columns divides the central nave from the main altar. It catches the viewer’s attention thanks to the beautiful gothic organ of the 19th century.
The space at its base is dedicated to the choir and used to host singers during the religious function. This space is also bounded by a parapet, decorated with the crest of the former Cathedral and some gilded bas-reliefs depicting the twelve apostles.
At the top of the organ a little angel dominates the church from the above, while at its back a beautiful apse stands.
The masonry altar is made of fake marble; the stone is painted and covered with sheets of glass to simulate the typical gloss of the marble surface.
